I absolutely love this song except it is Christ Who has the final word. Think about it! Many people died on the cross. It is just a bunch of sticks. It is Jesus sacrifice that did EVERYTHING, not the thing. I wish they would change that part of the song. Christ has the final word. The cross was nothing more then what Jesus was hung on. That's like when people pray to Mary. She is Jesus mother and was fabulous but she can't do anything for you. The cross is a dead object. It can't say or do anything. Jesus or Christ can. The rest of the song says that very thing. Jesus is greater not the cross. Think about it and please think about changing the words.
